Dinkdish review and community guidelines

DinkDish is a community-driven platform built to help improve pickleball experiences through honest reviews, constructive feedback, shared experiences, and meaningful discussion. These Review and Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) are intended to promote fair, respectful, accurate, and lawful participation on the Platform.

By accessing, posting, submitting content, or otherwise participating on the DinkDish platform (“Platform”), you agree to comply with these Guidelines, as well as the DinkDish Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

## 1. Purpose of the Platform

DinkDish exists to encourage authentic user feedback regarding pickleball tournaments, facilities, events, products, and related experiences.

Users are encouraged to:

• provide honest and constructive reviews;
• share firsthand experiences;
• help other players make informed decisions;
• contribute respectfully to the pickleball community; and
• support transparency and accountability within the sport.

## 2. General Conduct Standards

Users must conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly when using the Platform.

You may not post, upload, transmit, or otherwise publish content that:

• is false, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent;
• contains knowingly inaccurate statements;
• impersonates another person or entity;
• harasses, threatens, intimidates, abuses, or targets another individual;
• contains hate speech, discriminatory language, or content promoting violence;
• is obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate;
• promotes unlawful conduct or illegal activities;
• invades another person’s privacy;
• discloses confidential or private information;
• contains malware, malicious code, or harmful technologies; or
• otherwise violates applicable laws or regulations.

## 3. Review Standards

Reviews should reflect genuine firsthand experiences.

Users may not:

• submit fake or fabricated reviews;
• submit reviews for experiences they did not personally have;
• manipulate ratings, rankings, or engagement metrics;
• coordinate review campaigns designed to artificially influence scores or reputation;
• offer or accept compensation, discounts, incentives, or rewards in exchange for reviews unless expressly disclosed;
• post reviews on behalf of another individual without authorization; or
• repeatedly post substantially similar or duplicate content.

DinkDish reserves the right to investigate suspicious review activity and remove reviews or accounts at its sole discretion.

## 4. Constructive Criticism and Opinion Content

Users are permitted to post negative opinions and critical feedback provided such content:

• reflects a genuine opinion or experience;
• is not knowingly false;
• is not defamatory or malicious;
• does not include personal attacks or threats; and
• complies with applicable law.

Users are encouraged to focus reviews on experiences, services, organization, facilities, communication, scheduling, operations, amenities, and related factors rather than personal attacks against identifiable individuals.

## 5. Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited on the Platform:

• defamatory statements;
• knowingly false accusations;
• harassment or bullying;
• threats of violence or intimidation;
• doxxing or disclosure of private personal information;
• spam or repetitive promotional content;
• phishing attempts or scams;
• copyrighted content uploaded without authorization;
• trademark infringement;
• content designed to damage systems or interfere with Platform operations;
• content promoting illegal drugs, illegal gambling, or unlawful conduct;
• sexually explicit material;
• fake accounts or coordinated inauthentic activity; and
• content that violates the rights of any third party.

## 6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Users may not upload, post, or distribute copyrighted materials, trademarks, photographs, videos, graphics, or other proprietary content unless they own the rights or have appropriate authorization.

By posting content to the Platform, users represent and warrant that they possess all rights necessary to submit such content.

DinkDish reserves the right to remove allegedly infringing content and respond to intellectual property complaints.

## 7. Minors and Sensitive Information

Users should not post:

• personal information relating to minors;
• home addresses;
• phone numbers;
• email addresses;
• financial information;
• medical information; or
• other sensitive personal information.

Users under eighteen (18) years of age should exercise caution when sharing information publicly.

## 8. Advertising, Promotion, and Commercial Activity

Unless expressly authorized by DinkDish in writing, users may not:

• use the Platform primarily for advertising or solicitation;
• post spam or commercial promotions;
• promote unrelated businesses or services;
• engage in affiliate marketing through user-generated content; or
• attempt to redirect users away from the Platform for commercial purposes.

## 9. Moderation and Enforcement

DinkDish reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, edit, remove, restrict, suspend, or disable any content, account, or activity at any time and for any reason.

DinkDish may take enforcement actions including:

• content removal;
• warning notices;
• temporary suspensions;
• permanent account termination;
• reporting unlawful conduct to authorities; and
• pursuing legal remedies where appropriate.

DinkDish retains sole discretion in determining whether content or conduct violates these Guidelines.

User-generated content reflects the opinions and experiences of individual users and not necessarily those of DinkDish.

## 12. Reservation of Rights

DinkDish reserves all rights relating to operation, moderation, enforcement, monetization, and management of the Platform.

Nothing in these Guidelines limits DinkDish’s rights under its Terms of Service or applicable law.

## 13. Changes to These Guidelines

DinkDish may modify or update these Guidelines at any time.

Updated Guidelines become effective upon posting to the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Guidelines.
